Lehnsherr comes to the cage accompanied by PURE EVIL!. Overeem has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor) as his entrance music. Lehnsherr moves forwards but Overeem connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Erik Lehnsherr has been cut.

Overeem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lehnsherr.
Overeem moves away from the strike by Lehnsherr.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lehnsherr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Overeem looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lehnsherr throws a lazy right hand but Overeem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lehnsherr jabs Overeem right on the nose. Overeem blinks but takes it well.

Lehnsherr moves into range and clinches up with Overeem.
Lehnsherr dips a shoulder and cracks Overeem with a mighty uppercut! Overeem falls back against the cage and Lehnsherr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Overeem is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lehnsherr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
