Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Chaney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Magney!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaney fails with an attempt to clinch.
Magney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chaney tries to avoid it but Magney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chaney to the ground. Chaney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chaney fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Magney shoots for a takedown but Chaney saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Magney circles away from the clinch attempt.
Magney shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chaney as he jumps to the side.
James Chaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neil Magney.
A jab lands there for Magney.
Chaney has a takedown stuffed.
Chaney moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Magney circles away from the clinch attempt.
Magney shoots in but Chaney avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Chaney misses with a takedown attempt - Magney sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

James Chaney has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Neil Magney is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Chaney.
I think Magney has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
