Horrible takedown by Fitch or perhaps it was just good defense by Salcido which made him look bad.

Salcido shoots in looking for a takedown but Fitch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salcido's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fitch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Salcido sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fitch somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Fitch. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fitch shoots in looking for a takedown. Salcido tries to sprawl out of it but Fitch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salcido manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Salcido dives in and grabs Fitch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fitch pushes down on Salcido's head and hops out.
