Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mason is defended easily by Wolf.

Mason closes the distance and clinches.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mason has eaten all the pies!
Mason tries for a takedown but Wolf manages to get underhooks.

Wolf jumps guard but Mason stands there with Wolf around his waist. Wolf gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mason tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wolf manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wolf swats away the attempt to clinch by Mason.
Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolf pinned against the cage. Wolf gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
