The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redd closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Redd connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Billy Joyce has been cut.
Redd displaying some good clinch control by pressing Joyce up against the cage.
Redd crunches a lovely knee into Joyce's ribcage.
Joyce tries to break free but Redd pushes him back against the cage.
Redd with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Joyce is trying to break the clinch but Redd is controlling him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Joyce shoots in for a double leg but Redd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oh Joyce is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Redd dodges the punch combination from Joyce.
Joyce is breathing heavily.

Redd moves into the clinch successfully.

Redd drops Joyce with a big knee straight up the middle! Joyce is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Joyce gets tackled into the cage by Redd. Redd maintains the clinch.
Redd throws 2 knees - Joyce can't escape Redd's clinch. As Joyce tries to escape again Redd whips his head left to meet with another knee! That's knocked out Joyce's gum shield and as Joyce falls to the floor, the referee steps in to end the fight!
