Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Pagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ishyrun Thalis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thalis has chosen Swerve City - Deftones as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Pagan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ishyrun Thalis!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thalis misses with a wild body shot.
Thalis throws a hook but Pagan avoids it easily.

Thalis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pagan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thalis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pagan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thalis is just riding it out for now. Pagan eventually gives up the hold.

Pagan uses his free foot to push down on Thalis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Thalis.

Pagan has hold of Thalis's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Thalis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pagan throwing strikes here but Thalis is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Pagan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Thalis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Thalis and Pagan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pagan. Thalis does a little dance to reset his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Thalis enables Pagan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Thalis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Thalis is staying active underneath Pagan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Thalis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Thalis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pagan.

Pagan swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thalis is now in Pagan's guard. A big mistake from Pagan there, giving up the dominant position!

Pagan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thalis's guard.

Pagan drops back looking for a leg! Thalis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thalis manages to kick Pagan off! Pagan jumps back into Thalis's guard.

Well Pagan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
