The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kahaladze closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kurokov did well to prevent Kahaladze getting side control.
Kahaladze is nestled in close to Kurokov, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Kurokov is trying to control but can't.
Kurokov is pressing down on Kahaladze's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Kurokov has his feet on Kahaladze's thighs here. He's pushed Kahaladze off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kahaladze screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Andrey Kurokov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
