Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Jamie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alecxsander Pitpitunge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitpitunge is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Never Say Die. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitpitunge throws a head kick that misses.
Pitpitunge will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Jamie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pitpitunge's guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Adam Jamie wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Pitpitunge tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jamie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pitpitunge somewhat.

Adam Jamie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alecxsander Pitpitunge.

Pitpitunge is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pitpitunge tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jamie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jamie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Jamie chips away with some ground and pound.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jamie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jamie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pitpitunge's guard.
Jamie uses his free foot to push down on Pitpitunge's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pitpitunge.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jamie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pitpitunge looks a forlorn figure.

Pitpitunge tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Jamie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Adam Jamie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jamie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pitpitunge keeps working.

Jamie works to advance to full mount. Pitpitunge defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jamie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pitpitunge is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jamie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jamie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Pitpitunge to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pitpitunge shrugs it off.

Pitpitunge has left one of his arms exposed and Jamie doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pitpitunge screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
