Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Evora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JP Takedown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evora comes into the arena with D.A.D. - Bad Craziness blaring out of the sound system. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JP Takedown!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Takedown.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Evora can't do much from the bottom here.

Evora is looking to reverse the position.
Takedown wants to stand but Evora is controlling his arm.
Evora takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Takedown is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Evora has escaped the position, nice work there.
Takedown wants to control but Evora is keeping him busy.
Evora is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Takedown goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Evora rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Takedown's guard! Nice work there by Evora!

Evora got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takedown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evora has managed to get both his arms back between Takedown's legs - danger averted.
Evora stands and throws Takedown's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Takedown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
