The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
Suzuki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Suzuki's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kaito Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
