Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Bronze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Starner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Bronze could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Glen Starner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Bronze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glen Starner!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronze uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Starner.
Starner scores with a jab to the jaw.
Glen Starner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bronze connects with a body shot that sends Starner's belly button to the back.
Starner throws an off balance right hand

and Bronze counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bronze.
Bronze goes for a takedown in the clinch but Starner prevents it.
Bronze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bronze goes for a takedown attempt but Starner pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bronze throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Starner sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bronze slips a jab and a cross from Starner.
Bronze moves out of range as Starner strikes.
Starner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bronze thows a body shot but no joy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bronze.
Nice takedown defense from Starner. No joy for Bronze on that attempt.

Bronze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Starner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Starner tries to bench press Bronze off him but Bronze keeps the position.

The strikes coming from Bronze are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Starner is not content to let Bronze control the position.
Bronze misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Starner gets back to half guard.
Bronze has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bronze throws a big right hand that misses.

Starner controls Bronze momentarily but Bronze frees himself.

Starner has a closed guard, preventing Bronze from standing up.
Starner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bronze missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bronze lands a couple of elbows.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bronze is looking to work some ground and pound but Starner has wrist control.
Starner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Starner has his foot on Bronze's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bronze works his way back into a safe position though.

Starner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bronze was well out of range. Poor timing from Starner.
Bronze is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Starner tries to work over Bronze's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Bronze tries to circle away but Starner has him pinned against the cage.

Starner lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Starner is looking for a kimura but Bronze is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Starner to get the leverage.
Bronze wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bronze is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Starner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Starner's back!
Starner breaks Bronze's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bronze holds on and takes a little breather.

Bronze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Starner works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bronze is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Starner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bronze has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Starner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bronze.

Starner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bronze, who protects the arm well.
Starner tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bronze's legs.

Glen Starner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bronze tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Starner smiles and moves away.

Bronze buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bronze, right into the meat.
Starner throws a jab when Bronze was well out of range.
Starner cracks Bronze with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Starner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Glen Starner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Starner throws out a loose jab but Bronze uses good head movement to avoid it.

Starner takes the fight into the clinch.
Starner's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Starner softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Starner blocks an uppercut.
Bronze swings wildly with an uppercut but Starner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bronze jumps guard but Starner stands there with Bronze around his waist. Bronze gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Bronze. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Starner.
Bronze scores with a shot to the side of Starner's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Starner prevents a body shot from Bronze.
Bronze is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Starner pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Starner looking to stall.
Starner lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bronze or not.
Starner is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Starner swings wildly with an uppercut but Bronze uses good head movement to avoid it.
Starner tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Bronze tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Starner's elbow.

Starner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bronze regains guard.
Starner wants to control from the top but Bronze keeps moving.

Bronze has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Starner doesn't defend quickly enough and Bronze has managed to lock this one up! Can Starner escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bronze on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mr Bronze!
