The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liljedahl lands a big head kick that sends Brit tumbling to the mat! Liljedahl takes a step backwards and waves Brit back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Johnny Brit has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Liljedahl closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Liljedahl keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Brit's efforts to push away.
Brit blocks a body shot from Liljedahl.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Liljedahl.
Brit wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Brit breaks the clinch.
Liljedahl connects with a single shot there.
Brit misses the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liljedahl misses with the body kick
and Brit counters with a three punch combo that has Liljedahl backing up. Liljedahl nods at Brit to acknowledge the strikes.
Brit comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brit moves out of range of the body kick.
Brit on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brit pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Brit uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Liljedahl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Liljedahl throws a head kick that Brit semi-blocks.
Johnny Brit's cut is getting worse.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brit closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Liljedahl! Brit dives in looking to finish! Liljedahl is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Brit!
