The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bear doesn't manage to clinch there - Rua circles away.

Bear closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Bear tries to land knees in the clinch but Rua avoids the damage to the body.
Bear landing knees to the body.
Bear misses with a knee to the head.
Bear landing knees to the head.
Bear lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Daniel Rua has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bear drops Rua with a big knee straight up the middle! Rua is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Rua is rocked!
Rua is breathing heavily.
Rua thows a body shot but no joy.
Rua misses with a two punch combination.
Rua fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bear lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Rua crumples to the floor! Bear milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
