Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizzy Kock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kock is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 45 from Shinedown. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rizzy Kock!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kock closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gaston quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Horrible takedown by Kock or perhaps it was just good defense by Gaston which made him look bad.

Kock has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kock there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gaston shoots in looking for a takedown. Kock tries to sprawl out of it but Gaston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
James Gaston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gaston feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kock sprawling to the canvas! Kock rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gaston finish him?!


It looks like Rizzy Kock has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice takedown defense from Kock. No joy for Gaston on that attempt.

Gaston lands a huge takedown. Kock is out but the ref is slow to react and Gaston lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Kock lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
