Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Spector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spector connects with a crisp jab.

Diaz feints and as Spector raises his hands in defense, Diaz changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Spector knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground.
Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spector swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Diaz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cesar Diaz dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Spector throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Diaz takes one to the chin there.

Diaz tries to move into range but Spector moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Diaz looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Diaz has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diaz there as he acknowledges the shot.
Diaz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spector tries to avoid it but Diaz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spector to the ground. Spector escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Spector lands a jab to Diaz's midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spector scores with a sloppy right hand. Diaz should have avoided that one.
Spector punishes Diaz's body with a nice straight punch.
Good exchange - Spector coming out on top.
Diaz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Harvey Spector has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesar Diaz.

Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Spector sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Spector lands a big right hand that sends Diaz crashing to the mat! Spector stays standing though and waves Diaz back to his feet!

Spector drops Diaz with a straight right hand, right on the button! Spector follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
