Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ninja Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadhg Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Forte has chosen First Of The Year as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ninja Samurai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tadhg Forte!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samurai moves in looking to clinch but Forte pushes him off.
Forte circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Forte counter with a right hand.
Samurai tries to clinch up
and Forte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Samurai tries to clinch up but Forte circles away and keeps his distance.
Samurai clinches up against the cage.
Samurai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Samurai wants to clinch up but Forte keeps it at a distance.
Samurai forces Forte back against the cage and clinches.
Forte wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Samurai has him pressed against the cage.
Samurai displaying some good clinch control by pressing Forte up against the cage.
Samurai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Samurai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Forte paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Samurai is looking to clinch but Forte is avoiding it.
Samurai fails in his attempt to clinch.
Samurai closes the distance but Forte moves to the side
and Forte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Samurai wants to clinch.
Samurai darts in trying to clinch
and Forte connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Samurai keeps control of Forte as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samurai breaks from the clinch.
Samurai misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Forte keeps the fight on the outside.
Samurai wants to clinch
and Forte counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Samurai is on top in guard.
Samurai wants to pass the guard but Forte is keeping the position.
Samurai controlling from the top position.
Samurai is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Forte has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Samurai is looking to defend but Forte has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Samurai! Forte pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Samurai taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tadhg Forte!
Tadhg Forte got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
