The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrow takes a kick to the side of the head.
Nice body kick from Kingston.
Kingston misses with a takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Barrow pushes Kingston away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kingston gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Barrow on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barrow tries to get out of the position.

Kingston jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barrow walks away with a smile on his face. Kingston gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kingston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Barrow throws a series of punches but Kingston moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Barry Barrow will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
