Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Willy Yarbourgh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Turd Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Willy Yarbourgh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Turd Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yarbourgh shoots in and bounces Anderson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Yarbourgh lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Anderson wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Yarbourgh is now in half guard.
Anderson tries to get to full guard but Yarbourgh has control of the leg.
Yarbourgh is controlling the pace.
Yarbourgh not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Anderson is looking for a sweep. Yarbourgh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Yarbourgh passes the guard and advances to mount!
Anderson tries to hold on but Yarbourgh postures up.
Anderson is desperately trying to improve his position but Yarbourgh has a good base and remains in mount.

Yarbourgh wants to pass the guard but Anderson is defending well.

Yarbourgh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yarbourgh has managed to get both his arms back between Anderson's legs - danger averted.

Yarbourgh throws a strike but Anderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yarbourgh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Yarbourgh will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Yarbourgh takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Yarbourgh is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

That was a close second round but I would say that Willy Yarbourgh will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Yarbourgh counters with a three punch combo that has Anderson backing up. Anderson nods at Yarbourgh to acknowledge the strikes.
Yarbourgh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yarbourgh. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
