The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sichev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fighter tries to clinch but Sichev is having none of it.

Sichev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Fighter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sichev scores with a couple of nice shots.
Fighter is trying to stand.
Sichev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fighter is trying to maintain the position but Sichev is very close to passing his half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sichev seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fighter is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
