Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Liddel crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Howard - the referee stops the clock and Liddel gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Howard. Liddel manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A chopping leg kick lands by Howard.
Liddel looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Howard throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Howard lands a big head kick that sends Liddel tumbling to the mat! Howard takes a step backwards and waves Liddel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Chuck Liddel has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Howard.
and Howard counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Liddel! He's just covering up as Howard starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dwight Howard!
Dwight Howard spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
