The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Illias Stefano has been cut.
Stefano throws a right hand that misses
and Connor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Connor scores with a hook to the body. Stefano takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Connor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stefano.
Connor scores with a kick to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stefano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Connor connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stefano doesn't manage to clinch there - Connor circles away.
Stefano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Connor bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Stefano moves in looking to clinch but Connor pushes him off.
Stefano swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stefano takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jab, jab by Connor - just one landing.
Stefano shoots in looking for a takedown. Connor tries to sprawl out of it but Stefano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Connor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stefano throws a poor cross that misses

and Connor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stefano! Connor lets Stefano back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Stefano is rocked!

That has opened up Illias Stefano's cut even more.
Stefano looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stefano leaves his chin hanging out and Connor seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Stefano crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
