Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Sagoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Oscar Jones acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagoth stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Sagoth moved out of range.

Sagoth moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Sagoth takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Sagoth tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Sagoth's defenses.
Sagoth moves forwards but Jones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Sagoth off the cage and back into range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jones catches Sagoth with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones winds up and cracks Sagoth with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sagoth is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sagoth has hold of Jones's hands but Jones slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sagoth is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
Jones wants to take a breather but Sagoth is having none of it.
Sagoth tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
Nice strikes from Jones there.
Sagoth slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sagoth has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Sagoth's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sagoth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.
Sagoth is breathing heavily.
Jones connects with a couple of short punches.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones won't allow Sagoth to get back to his feet.

Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jones content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sagoth is rocked!
Jones stands up over Sagoth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Sagoth is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sagoth is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
Jones is working Sagoth over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Jones gets to his feet and stands over Sagoth, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sagoth felt that one! Jones unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sagoth from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Jones!
