Gerard comes to the cage accompanied by Sum 41 - Still waiting. Fabio Gerard looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reygaerts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gerard looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gerard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Reygaerts looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Reygaerts gets to mount! Gerard was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Reygaerts wants the takedown. Gerard is fighting it off but Reygaerts persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Gerard's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gerard seems to have got his legs back now.

Reygaerts is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Gerard is in big trouble! Reygaerts is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Gerard. Poor guy.
