Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Pedrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pedrock might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Queens Of The Stone Age - Go With The Flow. Joe Pedrock could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rey Malapitan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedrock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pedrock tries to bum rush Malapitan with a series of wild strikes but Malapitan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

No joy there for Pedrock, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Joe Pedrock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Check out the look on Malapitan's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Malapitan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pedrock keeps working.
Malapitan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Malapitan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Malapitan is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Pedrock is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That was a close round but I would say that Joe Pedrock will probably get the nod.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Malapitan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pedrock keeps working.

Malapitan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malapitan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rey Malapitan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Malapitan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pedrock sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Malapitan somewhat.

Malapitan shoots in and bounces Pedrock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pedrock wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Malapitan manages to pass to side control.

Malapitan is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pedrock looks calm but he's in trouble here. Malapitan gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pedrock is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Malapitan lets go of the hold and Pedrock can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Rey Malapitan tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
