Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Simon Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abraham Psi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morgan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sherry Monocle. The crowd seem to be enjoying Psi's choice of entrance music: The Final Countdown - Europe. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Psi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Psi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Abraham Psi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Psi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Psi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That's time! Morgan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That kick from Morgan tenderised Psi's leg. Psi is trying to keep his angry face on.

Psi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Morgan can pounce on him.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Psi in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Morgan here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Simon Morgan.
