Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Timmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marian Krupnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmer's entrance music is James Brown-Woman. A fine choice. Krupnik is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Dreadnoughts - Sleep is for the Weak. Jeff Timmer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeff Timmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marian Krupnik!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krupnik looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Krupnik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Timmer as he jumps to the side.

Timmer moves into the clinch successfully.
Timmer putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Krupnik in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Timmer is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Krupnik looks winded!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Timmer tries to land a knee to the head but Krupnik blocks with his arms.
Timmer looking to throw knees to the head but Krupnik is blocking nicely.

Timmer is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Krupnik is defending well for now.
Timmer wants to stall.
Krupnik is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jeff Timmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marian Krupnik.
Timmer misses with a knee strike.
Timmer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Krupnik blocks it with crossed arms.
Timmer is pushing Krupnik up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Timmer gets underhooks to prevent Krupnik's takedown attempt.

Timmer tries to land a knee to the head but Krupnik blocks with his arms.
Timmer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Timmer trying to stall but Krupnik improves his position.
Krupnik has Timmer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Timmer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Krupnik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Timmer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Timmer tries to clinch up but Krupnik circles away and keeps his distance.
Timmer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krupnik to score with a decent uppercut.
Timmer is looking to clinch but Krupnik is avoiding it.
Timmer wants to clinch up but Krupnik keeps it at a distance.
Timmer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Timmer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Krupnik paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Krupnik has closed the distance and engaged Timmer in a clinch.
Timmer looking to stall.
Krupnik fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Krupnik leaning his opponent against the cage.
Timmer misses with a knee strike.

Krupnik manages to pull guard.

Krupnik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Timmer defends well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Krupnik working for a triangle but Timmer defends it easily.
Timmer is looking to stand up but Krupnik won't let him.

Krupnik pushes Timmer off and scrambles back to his feet.

Krupnik darts in and clinches Timmer up against the cage.

Krupnik breaks the clinch.
A head kick misses from Timmer.
Jeff Timmer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Timmer is looking to clinch.
Krupnik closes the distance and clinches up with Timmer, looking for a takedown. Krupnik pushes Timmer against the cage but Timmer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Krupnik drives through and clinches with Timmer against the cage.
Timmer is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Timmer gets underhooks to prevent Krupnik's takedown attempt.
Timmer with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Krupnik manages to pull guard.
Timmer is looking to stand up but Krupnik won't let him.
Krupnik wants to improve his position but instead Timmer has moved into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Krupnik is trying to get back to full guard.
Timmer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Krupnik kicks off Timmer and gets to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Timmer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Krupnik slows down the pace here.
Timmer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krupnik has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Krupnik tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Krupnik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Krupnik scores with a jab. Timmer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marian Krupnik will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Krupnik looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Timmer!


It looks like Jeff Timmer has been cut.
Timmer is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Timmer bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Timmer throws a head kick that Krupnik semi-blocks.
Krupnik shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Timmer as he jumps to the side.
Krupnik shoots in for a takedown but Timmer shows good takedown defense.
Timmer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Krupnik closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Timmer to the mat! Timmer manages to get full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Krupnik stops Timmer from standing up.
Krupnik is pushing down on Timmer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Timmer is fighting to maintain full guard but Krupnik has managed to sneak the leg through.
Krupnik looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Timmer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Krupnik thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Timmer's head.
Timmer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Krupnik scores with a couple of nice shots.
Timmer taking some punishment here, with Krupnik in his half guard.
Krupnik has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Timmer is trying to stand back up but Krupnik is controlling him
Ground and pound from Krupnik.
Krupnik is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Krupnik working the head and body with strikes.
Timmer wants to get back to his feet.
Krupnik lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Krupnik winds up and cracks Timmer with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Krupnik is looking for a kimura here.
Krupnik scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Timmer wants to get back to his feet.
Krupnik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Krupnik content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Marian Krupnik has got the better of the ground game so far.
Timmer has hold of Krupnik's hands but Krupnik slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Krupnik prevents Timmer from standing back up.
Krupnik slips a nice elbow through Timmer's hands, connecting with Timmer's forehead.
Krupnik takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Krupnik is trying for a kimura here. Timmer looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Krupnik wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Marian Krupnik!
Marian Krupnik took some time post fight to say the following; 'Gimmie a bottle of vodka, fast!'.
