Burns has chosen Down With The Sickness- Disturbed as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manhoef drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Burns manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Burns is looking to improve his position.

Manhoef tries to stand but can't do so whilst Burns controls his leg.

Manhoef knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Burns fails with the takedown

and Manhoef counters by clinching up.
Manhoef works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Manhoef breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Manhoef will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Manhoef fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Burns, pushing him back against the ropes.

Burns changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Manhoef fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Manhoef shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burns's guard.

Manhoef has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Burns to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Manhoef is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Burns pulls down on the head and he's put Manhoef to sleep! This one is all over!
