Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodger Waldie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cinder Smaug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rodger Waldie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rodger Waldie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Waldie throws out the jab.
Waldie throws out a loose jab but Smaug uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smaug misses with a wild combination.
Waldie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smaug paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Waldie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smaug counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Rodger Waldie has been cut.
Waldie ducks under a wild hook from Smaug.
Smaug walks into a stiff left hand from Waldie.

It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Smaug dodges the punch combination from Waldie.
Waldie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smaug swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smaug moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice straight punches there by Smaug. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smaug.
Smaug blocks a jab.
Smaug bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Waldie's head.

Rodger Waldie's cut is getting worse.
Waldie swats away the attempt to clinch by Smaug.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Waldie is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Smaug just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Waldie has gone limp and this one is over!
