Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Davis!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Gambler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Davis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Davis misses with a series of wild punches.
Gambler looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Davis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gambler's hands.

Gambler looks for the body kick but Davis saw that one coming.
Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gambler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Gambler circles away.

Davis throws a right hand that Gambler ducks under and follows up with a left that Gambler also avoids with ease.
Phil Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gambler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Gambler thows a body shot but no joy.

Gambler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davis.

Davis will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Davis cracks Gambler with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheers as Gambler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Davis doesn't seem phased though.
Davis closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gambler counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gambler moves out of range as Davis strikes.
Gambler missing with a left hand there. Davis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Davis looks to land a left hand but Gambler moved out of range nicely.
Davis connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gambler, as that shot connected.

and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gambler jabs Davis to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Davis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gambler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Davis drops his hands momentarily and Gambler takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gambler is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Davis bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gambler's head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Davis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Gambler makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Davis really felt that one!

Gambler jabs Davis right on the nose. Davis blinks but takes it well.

Gambler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Davis has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Gambler.
Davis has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gambler.
Davis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gambler to score with a decent uppercut.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Davis might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gambler has got the better of the exchanges.

Oooooh!!! Gambler has knocked Davis down with a huge combo! Gambler steps away and waves a wobbly Davis back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Phil Davis has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gambler is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Davis flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Davis is out cold! Gambler holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
