Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toxic Avenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Avenger's choice of entrance music: Misfits - We are 138. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Garcia darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Avenger can do anything to dispel that myth.

Garcia seems to be looking for submissions.
Avenger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garcia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Avenger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Garcia wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garcia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Avenger looks calm but he's in trouble here. Garcia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Avenger is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Garcia lets go of the hold and Avenger can pop his arm back in it's socket.
