Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Troy Slamen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Nieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slamen comes to the cage accompanied by Jaws Theme. Nieto has chosen Bullet the Blue Sky as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamen staying out of range there.
Slamen shoots in looking for a takedown but Nieto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Slamen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nieto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Slamen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Slamen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nieto avoids it really well and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
