Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Courtney Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ka Bann!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bann doesn't manage to clinch there - Drake circles away.
Drake misses with a head kick.
Drake misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bann moves in looking to clinch but Drake pushes him off.
Drake throws a sloppy head kick and Bann moves out of range easily.
Bann pushes Drake up against the cage in a clinch.
Bann jumps guard.
Bann trying to control the position.
Bann looking for a sweep. Not yet Bann, not yet.
Drake wants to pass the guard but Bann is keeping the position.
Bann wants to improve his position but instead Drake has moved into half guard.

Bann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Drake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drake wants to take a breather but Bann is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drake sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bann's guard.
Bann looking for submissions off his back.
Drake looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bann with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Drake lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Drake prevents Bann from improving his position.
Drake throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ka Bann will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Drake defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bann.

Bann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Drake circles away.

and Bann cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Drake tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Drake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bann accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bann is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Drake is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ka Bann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Drake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Bann shoots for a double leg takedown but Drake sprawls well. He's pushed Bann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

I would just about give that final round to Ka Bann.
