The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiprusoff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Korotkov but Korotkov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kiprusoff thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kiprusoff drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kiprusoff jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kiprusoff drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kiprusoff as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Korotkov screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kiprusoff! Nice submission victory there!
