Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Derrek Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Parise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan Parise has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Derrek Scott's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Derrek Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Parise!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parise tries for a takedown but Scott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Scott has taken the fight to the clinch.

Scott really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Parise has Scott up against the cage in a clinch.
Parise wants a takedown.
Scott is working for takedown but Parise is calmly controlling the position for now.
Scott has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Parise avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jordan Parise showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Scott counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Parise is lucky that one didn't land flush.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
