Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gene Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duane Dube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dube manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Anderson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dube enables Anderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dube manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dube cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Duane Dube has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Anderson feints and as Dube raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Dube has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
