The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBlargo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

McBlargo looks for a takedown but Pallas sprawls well.
Achilles Pallas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blargo McBlargo.

McBlargo tries for a takedown but Pallas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McBlargo is defended easily by Pallas.
McBlargo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pallas as he avoids it easily.

McBlargo feints and as Pallas raises his hands in defense, McBlargo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pallas is looking to stand up but McBlargo isn't so interested in that idea.

McBlargo drops back looking for a leg! Pallas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pallas manages to kick McBlargo off! McBlargo jumps back into Pallas's guard.

Pallas wants to stand but McBlargo is controlling the position.
McBlargo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
McBlargo works his foot free and advances to mount.

Pallas is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. McBlargo locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Pallas is forced to tap!
