Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CJ Sime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelan Hightower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sime counters with a takedown into side control.

Hightower manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Sime wants to take a breather but Hightower is having none of it.
Hightower is trying to stand back up but Sime is controlling him

Sime is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

CJ Sime has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hightower rushes Sime and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hightower doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sime has had enough of the clinch but Hightower keeps him there for the moment.

Sime shoots in looking for a takedown. Hightower tries to sprawl out of it but Sime keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hightower manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that CJ Sime will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to CJ Sime.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sime, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
