Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Roode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demetrious Bingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roode steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bingham.
Demetrious Bingham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bingham throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roode was covering up waiting for the punch and Bingham finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Roode trying to keep a closed guard but Bingham is proving a slippery customer.

Bingham takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bingham looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roode with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well, if Bingham is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bingham slips a nice elbow through Roode's hands, connecting with Roode's forehead.
Bingham tries to pass the half guard into mount. Roode knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Bingham bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Roode! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Bingham seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
