And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sevak Magakian!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magakian closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Magakian gets tackled into the cage by Krios. Krios maintains the clinch.
Magakian is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Krios pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Magakian decides to pull guard.
Krios wants to control from the top but Magakian keeps moving.

Magakian looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Magakian wants to stand but Krios is controlling the position.
Krios is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Magakian is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Krios's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thane Krios.
Nice uppercut there from Krios.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Krios lands a jab-cross combination.
Sevak Magakian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magakian closes this distance looking for a takedown but Krios circles away.
Magakian moves in looking to clinch but Krios pushes him off.

Krios takes the fight into the clinch.
Magakian tries for a takedown but Krios manages to get underhooks.
Thane Krios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sevak Magakian.
Krios works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A nice left hand lands by Krios.
Magakian drops down looking for an ankle pick but Krios pulls his leg out and moves away.
Magakian throws a looping overhand right but Krios ducks down to avoid it.
Magakian looks winded!
Magakian tries to move into range but Krios moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Magakian shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krios as he jumps to the side.
Krios throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Good standup being displayed there by Krios as he connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Krios rushes Magakian and presses him up against the cage.
Krios lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nice body punch from Krios - that landed with a thud.
Magakian wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Krios has him pressed against the cage.
Magakian drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Magakian takes a shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Krios breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Krios lands with a hook. Magakian tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Magakian is rocked!
Magakian takes a jab right on the kisser.
Magakian is still on wobbly legs! Can Krios finish him?
Magakian tries to score a power double leg takedown but Krios sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Magakian somewhat.
