Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jemini Houser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Williams!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houser is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams tests Houser's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A leg kick checked by Williams.
Houser really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Williams throws a sloppy body shot

and Houser moves into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Williams.

Houser breaks from the clinch.

Houser rushes Williams and presses him up against the cage.
Houser is working for takedown but Williams is calmly controlling the position for now.
Williams prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jemini Houser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Houser keeps control of Williams as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Houser turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Williams is looking for a sweep.
Williams is not content to let Houser control the position.
Houser grinds an elbow into Williams's temple.
Williams is trying to control Houser's posture but Houser avoids it.
Houser trying to control the position but Williams is working away.
Williams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Houser wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Houser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Houser off and has taken his back!
Williams gets his hands free as Houser looks to control.
Williams just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Houser has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Williams controlling the position well here. Houser rolled but Williams kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Houser rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Houser is trying to stand.
Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Houser with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Houser is trying to get back to full guard.
Williams stalling.
Houser avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Williams.
Williams throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Houser to regain full guard.
Williams controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dave Williams wasn't active enough on the ground.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Houser. Houser gets slowly back to his feet.
Jemini Houser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams digs a good hook to Houser's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams lands with a nice body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dave Williams dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Houser on that attempt.
Williams misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Houser.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Houser has his takedown stuffed
and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Houser thinking.
Williams fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Houser looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Houser's head backwards.
Horrible takedown by Houser or perhaps it was just good defense by Williams which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jemini Houser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams misses with a double jab.

Houser looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dave Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams scores with a nice right hand.
Houser on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Williams connects with a right hand. Houser shakes it off.
Houser dodges the punch combination from Williams.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams lands with a cross.

Houser looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Williams!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams is looking for a sweep.
Houser in side control, throwing shots but Williams defends.

Houser decides to stand up, so the ref orders Williams to his feet.
Houser walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Williams ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Williams lands a nice hook to Houser's body. Houser takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Williams throws a one two combo.


Houser is rocked!
Williams scores with a hook to the body. Houser takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dave Williams seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Williams connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oh Houser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Houser on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Houser get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Houser stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Williams runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dave Williams!
