The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cream wants to clinch but Gracie slips to the side

and Gracie moves into the clinch.

Gracie is trying to trip Cream. He has hold of a leg but Cream is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Cream wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.
Gracie won't allow Cream to sweep him here.
Cream is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cream working a defensive guard but Gracie passes into half guard.
Cream has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cream wants to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gracie wants to work for an arm triangle but Cream is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Cream wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Cream moves into full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Cream is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cream manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Cream's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cream is striking off his back. Gracie thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura but Cream is defending well.
Cream trying to control but Gracie postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Crispy Cream will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Cream shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cream in side control, throwing shots but Gracie defends.
Cream throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Cream wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.
Cream throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Gracie is not content to let Cream control the position.

Gracie regains half guard, as Cream was trying to land strikes.
Gracie won't allow Cream to pass to mount.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Cream seems to be working for a kimura but Gracie defends the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cream throwing shots but Gracie is blocking nicely.
Cream wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gracie keeps working.

Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cream pulls his head out easily.
Cream is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Cream stalling away here and it's allowed Gracie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Cream from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Crispy Cream wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Cream looks to clinch

and Gracie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gracie.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Cream is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cream manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Cream's guard.

Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cream is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.

Cream tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Crispy Cream dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Cream tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Gracie holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Gracie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cream clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cream rolls, trying to escape but Gracie keeps control of the position.
Cream is working hard here to advance position.

Gracie is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cream knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cream for a finish.

Gracie is trying to stick to Cream's back but Cream is turning into Gracie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gracie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Cream.

Cream wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Cream wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Cream tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
Cream with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cream throws an elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cream's guard. Nice move by Gracie!

Cream looking to control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cream is really struggling to control Gracie but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Crispy Cream has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Cream feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gracie can't keep his opponent in guard - Cream advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Gracie moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Gracie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cream stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Renzo Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Crispy Cream is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cream gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Renzo Gracie.
I think Cream has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
