The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke misses with a takedown attempt - Iaton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Iaton gets the takedown into side control.
Locke tries to buck Iaton off but Iaton is having none of it.
Locke is working hard here to advance position.

Iaton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Iaton lands some shots froms side control.

Iaton looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Locke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Iaton wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Iaton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Iaton lands a few punches from side control.

Iaton scores with a couple of short elbows.
Locke takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Locke tries to buck Iaton off but Iaton is having none of it.
Iaton lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Locke down.

Locke is rocked!
A big shot lands for Iaton! That's hurt Locke! Will he recover? Iaton fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
