Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Torres tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bones smiles and moves away.
Torres misses with a low kick.

Torres shoots in and gets a takedown into Bones's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bones is pulling down on Torres's head to control his posture.
Torres tries to stand but Bones is controlling from the bottom.
Torres throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torres wants to stand but Bones has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Torres postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Torres won't allow Bones to sweep him here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Torres.
Torres works to advance to full mount. Bones defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Torres avoids the attempt from Bones to control.

Torres misses with a head shot.
Torres wants to control the pace but Bones is squirming around nicely.
Torres misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Torres can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bones is looking to escape.
Torres has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Torres tries to clinch up but Bones circles away and keeps his distance.
Torres slips a straight right by Bones.
Torres misses with a takedown attempt - Bones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Torres shoots in looking for a takedown but Bones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Torres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Torres on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Torres closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bones's guard.
Torres stays in close to Bones's body and controls the position.
Torres looking to sit in guard and control but Bones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Torres controls Bones momentarily but Bones frees himself.

Bones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nelson Torres has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Bones takes the fight into the clinch.
Torres is struggling to control the position.

Bones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Torres fails with a takedown attempt.

Torres fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bones manages to avoid it.

and Torres cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fight stays on the outside here - Torres looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Torres is still on wobbly legs! Can Bones finish him?
Bones circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Torres drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Bones follows Torres to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
