Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steven NZonzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoyt Jurgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgensen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In The End. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgensen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jurgensen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jurgensen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee warns NZonzi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jurgensen swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and NZonzi is now in Jurgensen's guard. A big mistake from Jurgensen there, giving up the dominant position!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jurgensen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. NZonzi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. NZonzi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hoyt Jurgensen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

NZonzi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jurgensen dives in and grabs NZonzi's left leg, looking for a takedown. NZonzi pushes down on Jurgensen's head and hops out.
Nice takedown defense from NZonzi. No joy for Jurgensen on that attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jurgensen shoots in looking for a takedown. NZonzi tries to sprawl out of it but Jurgensen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. NZonzi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Steven NZonzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoyt Jurgensen.

NZonzi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jurgensen avoids it really well and circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from NZonzi enables Jurgensen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. NZonzi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
NZonzi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jurgensen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Jurgensen! NZonzi is hurt baaadly! Jurgensen is firing away with more strikes - NZonzi is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
