Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Turtle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Turtle looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Turtle looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boom doesn't manage to clinch there - Turtle circles away.
Boom is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boom tries to clinch but Turtle moves out of range.
Boom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Turtle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boom wants to clinch up but Turtle keeps it at a distance.

Boom wants to stand and escape but Turtle is having none of it.

Turtle has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Boom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Boom swats away the attempt to clinch by Turtle.
Boom tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Turtle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Turtle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Boom's guard.
Turtle slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Boom is working an open guard so Turtle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boom tries to clinch but Turtle moves away

and Turtle counters with a nice double leg into side control. Boom won't be happy with that.
Turtle slows the pace down.
Boom tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Turtle landing strikes from the mount.

Boom really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turtle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Turtle lands a big shot there that rocks Boom but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Turtle fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Boom Boom has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Turtle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Turtle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Turtle is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Boom is forced to tap! Great finish!
