Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Gambini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed has chosen Motörhead - Bomber as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Reed - just one landing.
Gambini uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reed.
Reed fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Gambini takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gambini shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reed as he jumps to the side.
Reed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Reed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gambini really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reed thows a body shot but no joy.
Reed chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gambini shoots in for a double leg but Reed sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gambini on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Jake Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gambini is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That kick from Reed tenderised Gambini's leg. Gambini is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Reed! Gambini is out on his feet! Reed rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gambini is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gambini is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
