Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Nowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joni Betoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nowell comes into the arena with Doin Time blaring out of the sound system. Betoni has chosen Vinnie Paz - Brick Wall as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Betoni changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nowell tries to avoid it but Betoni manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nowell to the ground. Nowell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Betoni tries to break free but Nowell pushes him back against the ropes.
Betoni jumps guard but Nowell stands there with Betoni around his waist. Betoni gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Nowell throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Betoni blocks it with crossed arms.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nowell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Betoni.

Bradley Nowell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Betoni throws a solid leg kick but Nowell takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Betoni.

Betoni drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Betoni jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Betoni tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Betoni has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Joni Betoni spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
