The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blade on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Blade misses with a lunging right hand
and Damato counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Rage Blade has been cut.
Blade lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Damato at a distance.
Damato misses with a wild body shot.
Blade lands a jab to Damato's midsection.
Damato just misses with a punch to the body.
Blade fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blade misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rage Blade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damato throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Blade stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Damato looks to land a right hand but Blade moved out of range.
Blade connects with a nice looking jab.
Damato uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blade.
Blade moves out of range of the body kick from Damato.
Blade lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Blade scores with a punch to the head.
Blade misses with an uppercut. Damato saw that one coming.
Nice body kick there by Blade.

Damato uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blade.
Damato misses the jab.
Damato misses with a wild body shot.
Damato throws a poor cross that misses
and Blade counters with a thumping low kick.

Blade closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Damato misses with a hook. Blade ducked under it nicely.
No joy there for Blade, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Damato displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Blade throws out the jab.
Blade walks into a straight right hand from Damato.
Damato ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blade moves away.
Blade lands a jab-cross combination.
Damato throws a looping overhand right but Blade ducks down to avoid it.

Nice uppercut there from Blade.
Damato is rocked!
Damato slips a jab from Blade.
Damato is still on wobbly legs! Can Blade finish him?
Damato moves out of range of the strikes.
Damato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Damato seems to have recovered his senses.
Damato ducks under a wild hook from Blade.
Damato looks to land a body kick but Blade moved away.
Damato misses with a looping right.
Damato swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blade sends Damato crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Blade is motioning to the referee to let Damato up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Blade looks to land a right hand but Damato moved out of range.
Blade slips a jab from Damato.
Damato gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Blade gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rage Blade!
As Rage Blade got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I want that title baby lezz gooo'.
