And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBlargo shoots in looking for a takedown but Pallas manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McBlargo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pallas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

McBlargo scores with a takedown into Pallas's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pallas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McBlargo is controlling him.
McBlargo wants to pass the guard but Pallas is keeping the position.

McBlargo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pallas is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McBlargo, into his guard.
Pallas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pallas wants to stand and escape but instead McBlargo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

McBlargo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McBlargo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McBlargo is pushing down on Pallas's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pallas is fighting to maintain full guard but McBlargo has managed to sneak the leg through.

McBlargo wants to work for an arm triangle but Pallas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

McBlargo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pallas is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
