PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Delo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hussak Claw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delo Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Last Resort. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Claw or perhaps it was just good defense by Delo Santos which made him look bad.
Claw closes the distance and clinches up with Delo Santos, looking for a takedown. Claw pushes Delo Santos against the cage but Delo Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It looks like Hussak Claw has been cut.
Delo Santos moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Delo Santos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Delo Santos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Claw. Claw circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Claw is trying desperately to land a takedown but Delo Santos is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Claw.
Delo Santos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Delo Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Claw is working away from the top position though.

Claw is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Delo Santos is just riding it out for now. Claw eventually gives up the hold.

Delo Santos wants to get up but he can't break Claw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Claw is looking to sinch up a triangle. Delo Santos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Claw's body to avoid the submission. Claw has instead reached around Delo Santos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Claw arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
